Control your Mind Quickly and Easily!

Introduction [skip if you don't care for those]
What better way begin to help those [I, included] self-helpers than to teach them how to REALLY control their mind? If you are like me, or were like me, or ever plan to not be like me, then read on!

You can control your mind, you can literally [I mean it!] do anything you want to do. Sure, you might think I'm just blowing steam to get your attention [cause your a clever one], but I'm NOT! My goal here is to help you get those reigns back! Sure, you could let your subconscious mind keep a hold of them, let other people tell you what you need to be doing, or even try to not have any thoughts. Is this really what you want though?

Essentially, this is a life that isn't yours. If you let your subconscious mind do what it wants: You are on autopilot. If you let people control you: you are a pet! If you try to tune everything out into nothing, you are basically just a paperweight. Do you really want to be any of that? I really hope not. Don't fret, though! I can help. All you have to do is keep those eyes flowing down the paragraphs.

What is holding you back?
I know how much you readers like lists to break things down into easily understood categories, so here we go. I'll start off with what we already know [or so I hope!].
  • Letting your subconscious doing what it wants:
    • This puts you on autopilot because the subconscious is working from OLD values and beliefs. These may not be yours anymore or these thoughts may not even have been yours in the first place.
  • Letting people control you:
    • Have you ever wondered why dogs are so obedient? It's because they are CONTROLLED! They understand that this very well and work it to their advantage. Whereas humans do the same.
    • Look at it this way: You're working a job from sun-up to sun-down. Why? Money! You're essentially selling your time for what the 'boss' thinks you are worth. Now, remember the dog? The dog is selling it's time [doing tricks for you] for money [treats]. The dog is fine and happy with this lifestyle. It can not make it outside of that and it knows this. This is exactly like you have been programmed to think. LET IT GO! You are a human and you are capable of finding your own way.
  • Tuning everything out and living in a reality that isn't so real:
    • All this does is take all those thoughts that separate you from being a dog and ignores them. That isn't reasonable! Use your head! This makes you essentially a paperweight for whatever you are sitting on. Is that really how you want to go through life?

There's many other ways for you to NOT be in control of your mind, but I think you get the point. Just look around you and ask yourself: Why am I doing this? Is this for me? How? Keep asking questions! Y'know how they say smart kids ask questions? The same is true for adults. Just because you asked them as a kid and you THINK you don't have to ask anymore does NOT mean you are done learning. Your mind is a muscle. Exercise it! It'll benefit you.

Alright, now that you've got this far [or scrolled down to the goodies], I believe I might be able to help you help yourself. Lists again? I think so.

How to control your mind [step 1]

  • Think for YOURSELF!
    • Let us put all the ways we think we got here aside and focus on BEING here. Are you spending your time pleasuring yourself [in the best ways?] and bettering yourself into the person you want to be? If you are like the general population, then you are not.
    • Stop letting other people tell you what to do and push you around! There's a line [however shallow the marking is] between being a push-over who does whatever everyone wants instead of what they want and then there's the other extreme. Being overly aggressive [like a small child] and taking everything from other people, completely disregarding them.
      • Pushover help:   Try this for a change: Do what you want. Think about what you want. Is what you're doing what you want? Your wants are important too! In fact, they are, logically, the most important. If one of your wants is to fulfill the wants of others, then DO IT, but do not compromise your own wants to do this. Your wants are probably there because you want to better yourself and please yourself, but if you keep bettering other people and pleasing other people, then you won't ever accomplish ANYTHING! Let people call you selfish, but you know you are not. That's all that matters.
      • Overly-Aggressive help: Hey, you know what? Yes, what you want is perfectly fine. BUT YOU HAVE TO EARN THINGS! This is the real world where things are not going to be brought to you constantly. You're an adult [or teenager?] and not a small child. It's okay, though. You never learned how to respect others [and it's benefits!]. That's completely fine! You're realizing that now! All you have to do is think about how you'd feel if someone did what you're doing [stealing for example] to you. You'd be downright annoyed and most likely pissed off to no end. You don't think other people have feelings either? Everyone does. Other people control them. You can too! Use empathy and self-control.
    • However you got here [religion aside, please] you are here to keep bettering yourself. Whoever created us or brought us here [we got here somehow] would most likely want us to flourish in every way we know how. However, we hit a dead end and we give up. Just because you can't do it now does NOT mean you can't find other ways to do it! Find another route STOP LETTING YOURSELF BELIEVE YOU CAN'T DO IT JUST BECAUSE YOU'VE GIVEN UP!! Why did I capitalize that? Because I want you to remember!

Absorb the Information
I think I'll stop HERE because you need to absorb this information. Yeah yeah, I know you THINK you understand but try applying it to your own life and seeing if it helps. I bet you it will. Just give it a try.
Okay, so you don't think it will? Then at the very least, you've learned what you already know. Let your subconscious mind absorb this information. This is why people take breaks in between reading. Your subconscious mind learns from repetition of your thoughts and actions. If you want change, then you'll have to have the will to do it.

But of course, I can't write forever [I could, actually, but my fingers would disintegrate]. I'll explain how to get rid of those doubts that you now have due to giving up in the past in my next post. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT, FIND OTHER WAYS TO DO SOMETHING IF WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS FAILING! All failure is doing is leading you farther down into I-can't-do-anything land. Yeah, I make up words.

[I write in parts to break it up... Until I can shove all this knowledge in your head with a machine... but I think that machine might be illegal... So I guess this will have to make due]

I wish all the love in the world upon you,
Ace

p.p.s [I'm forgetful] I bracket things because they are my thoughts. I do not silence them. (:
